Mary Myers Mitts will be sharing her made from scratch cookie recipe, a typical sugar cookie recipe that includes the basics – flour, butter, sugar, eggs and maybe a little something extra. She uses something similar to Royal icing, but tweaks it so it doesn’t get stiff. Between she and her mother, Mary Myers has close to 200 cookie cutters, if not more, all different shapes. Mary Myers was spotlight on the cover of Northside Sun Magazine in December of 2017 with a feature story of her love for baking. Join us on this evening to learn how to decorate homemade sugar cookies for Valentines.
