G A T H E R I N G S | Christmas Cookies
'Tis the Season to gather in my kitchen and make Christmas cookies with all your best girl friends. There was so much Christmas cheer in the air during one time in the evening that I thought I might need to open my front door and let my neighbors enjoy.

This is the most wonderful time of the year. Laughing and singing, and jingle bells ringing while the Hanson Brother's Christmas Album plays "Run Run Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town" breathing in the smells of Christmas from the Thymes Frasier Fur aromatic candle. That might have just been a run-on sentence but hey, I am just so excited typing this I can't even slow down long enough to proof read it, ha!

This class sold out one week after I posted it back in August so the ladies in attendance had been waiting a long time for this evening. And I would say it was well worth the wait! Morgan Hartley of Charmed Cakes did such a wonderful job taking us step-by-step in making the perfect cookies. Giving us her super quick tip on how to make cookie dough that will not run all over the pan after you cut out your figures. And explaining the proper consistency of the batter by allowing us to touch the dough for confirmation. Morgan had thought of everything. Each of us had the cutest decorated box with enough pre-baked cookies to decorate with four bags of different Christmas colored icing. We could hardly control ourselves. I'm embarrassed to tell you that I did not have any cookies left to place in my decorated box.
I ate all of them. Do not judge me. But here is what a box of cookies might have looked like if I would have eaten before class started.
Just saying.
